This website provides you with information about the Tanzania Association of Non-Governmental Organizations (TANGO) including the various functions and programmes the network is involved with, as a coalition of genuine NGOs in the country. About Us

The Tanzania Association of Non-Governmental Organizations (TANGO) is the largest and longest standing national umbrella organization serving the Tanzanian NGO community. It was founded in 1988 by 22 NGOs.

 

Publications

TANGO houses a dynamic and fast growing resource centre with a variety of resources relevant to the civil society sector in the country. The resources include reports, books, newsletters, journals, magazines, newspapers, CD ROM, video and audio cassettes.

The resource centre is open to the public. However, books and other critical resources can only be borrowed by member-NGOs or at a 'replacement' fee to non-member organisations and individuals.
