| TANGO’s CALL ON NGOs |
|
As the government tightens its grip on the NGO sector and issues threats of deregistering NGOs which will be found wanting—it is important for NGOs from all walks of life to ensure that they have put their houses in order by internalizing and observing the NGO Code of Ethics. TANGO is hereby calling upon associate district and regional NGO networks to undertake immediate steps of popularizing the Code of Ethics so as to ensure that all NGOs are aware of the contain of the NGO Code. |
