KNOW ABOUT THE TANZANIA TRADE AND ECONOMIC JUSTICE FORUM (TTEJF)

Tanzania Trade and Economic Justice Forum (TTEJF) has been one of the main Coalitions focusing on trade advocacy since 2003. It was established to address the scattered and irregular engagement of the various CSOs/NGOs/FBOs in the Trade Policy processes and EPA negotiations,

The Coalition was formally known as Tanzania CSOs Trade Coalition (TCTC) and members who established the TCTC included: TANGO has been working as secretariat of TCTC with the following members: TANGO, TEDG, ZAMPCO, MVIWATA, HAKIKAZI, SITRADE, UNGO, JOURNALISTS, TAFU, LEAT, TYC, , FAIDAMALI, TALMETA, ACCORD, CGP Tanzania, ANGONET; and International organization: Oxfam GB, Action Aid and KEPA.

TANGO Establishes Online Forum on East Africa Integration

TANGO has established an online forum for Civil society, the private sector and other relevant stakeholders to discuss integration of the East African Community.  
The TANGO EAC Forum went live on 22nd.Nov.2012.
TANGO anticipates discussions from the forum will elevate civil society and the private sector to a key-informant in formulating policy for EAC regional integration processes and issues.
The initiative is supported by Trade Mark East Africa.

Constitution of the Republic of Tanzania in Swahili , in English

About 170 Civil Society Organizations' representatives from all regions of Tanzania (mainland and partly Zanzibar) met at Dodoma Hotel on 13th & 14th March 2012 at a national constitution convention to elect names that were to be proposed to the President of the United Republic of Tanzania for possible nomination into the Constitutional Review Commission.
